I had a feeling that this box set/Blue Ray would have it's detractors and sure enough. At the same time, I thought a lot more people by now would have been putting glowing reviews on here as to what an incredible box set this is - which it is! Now this album I know inside out and back to front because this is what turned me on to rock music at the tender age of 10 years old so when I saw that this was getting the super deluxe box set, Blue Ray, vinyl, 2CD, single CD re-issue treatment, I had mixed feelings in that this is the ultimate live album to celebrate this way but could also turn out to be a complete let down when messing with the mix of an album we know and love so dearly… Read more

Just noticed this compilation a couple of weeks ago as I usually start thinking of Xmas compilations/albums at this time and what drew my attention to it in particular was the inclusion of Messers Springsteen and U2 with a couple of tracks that you would obviously not get on their current albums! And having played the complete album now a couple of times over, the wide range of artists included here and the songs they cover work really well with the result that this is a hugely enjoyable, contemporary festive feast! And the Springsteen and U2 tracks are great by the way and well worth getting if you are a fan/completist like me.

Have just been bought this book by my son as a birthday present and just wanted to let all you Zeppelin fans out there (and we know there are many) that this is a must buy book. Unlike other books written about Led Zeppelin that revolve around the darker aspects of the band's past, this book is a veritable visual feast and actually celebrates the band's music (which matters most of course). The book really is a joy to behold - it looks good and feels good - with some stunning graphics and inspired use of colours.
