5.0 out of 5 stars Top Album, Worth Buying, 15 April 2014
This is the first ever Mike Oldfield album I've bought and I did so on the strength of the Amazon reviews. I'm glad I did, its an excellent album with a fine bunch of musicians including guest vocalist Luke Spiller and keyboard player Matt Rollings who has toured with the legend that is Mark Knopfler in recent years. Standout tracks for me are Sailing, Man on the Rocks and Following the Angels.

Its a nice mix of songs going from showcasing the guitar playing of Oldfield to the vocals of Spiller. It reminds me of a number of recent Mike and the Mechanics albums too, with its Prog Rock feel and reliance on guest vocalists.

Great album, you wont be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book, 26 Oct 2011
This book is well worth a read. Not just a sporting biography but a great account into a depressives mind especially the impact on those around them. Whilst I can't really say I remember Enke, it's obvious that he was destined to be at the 2010 World Cup as Germany's keeper and the fact he was so high profile makes the story all the more gripping. As the end of the book approaches, the story gets even more sad as you really feel for the guy as his final days near. One of the best and most moving books I've read in a long time, highly recommended.

I first heard of Arno through his guest stint on the recent Mike and the Mechanics album - The Road. I decided to buy this album and have to say that it is excellent. Dreamer, Emergency and Wonderful Wild are the obvious standout tracks but the final one is a tear-jerker to end on, called Too Many Tomorrows, an excellent song with a poignant message.

A big talent, let's hope he gets the break he deserves in the UK. Buy the album, you won't be disappointed.
