A friend tipped me off to one interesting riff, so I got the album. It is a relentless succession of quite fabulous songs, great hooks and fantastic dynamics. These blokes show maturity and confidence way beyond their years. That's quite apart from the song-writing talent. Am most surprised by the negative review on here - what's not to like? It's the best debut album I've heard since Pablo Honey. I knew Radiohead would be huge in 1992-3 and I feel the same way about this lot. Mind you, I also tipped the Welsh bird to win X Factor.

The "world's finest clip art"? You've got to be kidding. Most of this stuff seems to be awful, cheesy 1980s cartoons, poorly drawn and tiny file sizes too. That's not the worst of it: The product is virtually impossible to navigate - you'll be endlessly chopping and changing between its 14 CD-roms, relying mostly on guesswork as to where the piece of clip art you're searching for might be hiding. If by some miracle you do find it, you'd be embarrassed to put it even on a child's birthday party invite. To me this doesn't seem any better than one of those terrible clip-art CDs you can buy for 4.99. Don't waste your time and money.

Ignore the two children who posted below. This is a fabulous piece of work. Relentlessly entertaining, beautifully shot/drawn. The rippling six-packs and the comic-book dialogue are both laugh-out-loud funny. Indeed I did laugh out loud in the cinema and received a dig in the ribs from my teenage son who was taking the entire experience very seriously indeed. But if you're bothered about the dialogue in this movie you've missed the point. Incidentally, unlike the wannabe historians you will read below, I can vouch for its pinpoint accuracy from first-hand experience. For I was born and raised in ancient Sparta and at a very early age was forced to learn survival techniques by being cast… Read more
