Pure and utter drivel. I hear the book is brilliant, but this movie adaptation delivers lifeless characters dishing out monotonous diatribes about what they think is an intelligent assessment of the world as it is today. But really what it is, is a bunch of unlikeable characters using a lot of words to say not very much at all.
The movie witnesses the day from hell unfold for this poor billionaire all taking place pretty much in the back of his cab. Pretty impressive that he manages to conduct his business in there, miraculous too that the day takes in a visit from the President, anarchistic protests, a split with his wife, a senseless murder, and then possibly another death… Read more
