Sarah has been a favourite of mine since hearing her do a sound check at The Limelight in Aylesbury about 4 years ago. Tragically the local populace haven't explored the wide range of talent in this country. The show was poorly supported and even fine local Jazz musicians with an international reputation can't attract an audience. I went up to hear Sarah at Ronnie's Bar last spring. She was still in fine voice. Specialist venue The Stables is not far away and I have booked my ticket for her October visit. Do try to catch her if you can. Having been a fan of KBs ever since being introduced to him 5 years ago I thought it was about time I revisited his work and add to my collection. He covers a good part of his laid back style, great musical arrangements and top class musicians, songs which demonstrate his supreme skills as a composer and full lyrics in the neat liner notes - little bit hard to read for these tired old eyes. If you've never bought a KB cd before this is as good a place as any to start. And of course the usual speedy service from Amazon.

They immediately took me back to those early days. Great riffs, power, with terrific songs and delivery. The production crew behind this offering have captured the joy the guys had in performing before a delirious full house. The 40 minute documentary follows them before and after the show. Interviews with the remaining band members are justly proud of their achievement. Michael Hutchence (surely an unequalled front… Read more
