In My Own Words:
If you haven't seen the film, or the disc is dodgy, don't rate it at all you idiots. I'm sick of seeing reviews that tell me nothing about the film. Review the film and nothing else. Thats the point!

Wanderlust [DVD] <b>DVD</b> ~ Jennifer Aniston
Wanderlust [DVD] DVD ~ Jennifer Aniston
As much as I like Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston, there was something about this film that didn't quite seem right. Don't get me wrong, it is not a terrible film, and there are some reasonably funny parts, but it was just too hit and miss. I would say 50% of this movie is quite good, but 50% really isn't - this includes the cast, the jokes and the script, etc.
It is random and occasionally wayward, but Rudd and Aniston produce good performances as the married couple who move to a hippie commune. It is just a shame that nothing much was built on what could have been a funny premise.

Charlie St. Cloud [DVD] <b>DVD</b> ~ Zac Efron
Charlie St. Cloud [DVD] DVD ~ Zac Efron
2.0 out of 5 stars Generally Quite Poor, 16 Sep 2012
This is a film that could have been poignant; however, it becomes one that tries to be too sentimental and loses any sensible storyline less than twenty minutes in. I actually thought Efron's performance as Charlie was quite good. Unfortunately, the script, dialogue and poorly written flashbacks drag the movie and the message it is trying to convey, downhill. It seemed stretched and uncomfortable, particularly as the majority of the supporting cast were fairly poor - Augustus Prew was especially cringeworthy as Charlie's British friend.
Zac Efron gives a sense of what Charlie is feeling after the loss of his brother. However, the cheesy pop tunes and unnatural actions from the rest of… Read more

Ted is hilarious, rude and crude (possibly the word you will see in every review of this movie). The film is cast with comedy gold, with a smattering of Family Guy voice actors thrown in for good measure, and the one-liners smack you in the face right from the beginning. The hilarious narration (provided by Patrick Stewart) supplies a healthy handful of these. The mention of the Apache helicopter was still making me laugh when the film had ended.
What can sometimes be the best thing about a comedy is when it is set in a world that is actually believable - obviously with a living and breathing teddy bear involved this comment might seem slightly strange. However, everything else is… Read more
