This book is only truly worth the money, if you are basically kitchen phobic, live off the sort of frozen / tinned foods Delia recommends anyway but want to try and branch out and do something a little more adventurous.
To anyone else who is interested in cooking / interested in eating healthily / interested in cooking cheaply / doesn't live within easy access of about five different well stocked supermarkets, this is not the one for you. Countless chefs, notably Nigella Lawson with her Nigella Express (which I would recommend) but also Jamie Oliver, Gordon Ramsay, Nigel Slater, Bill Granger and Donna Hay have all covered 'quick cooking' using fresh ingredients.
