So disappointed. 4 of the 6 criteria you use to compare and play the game seem very subjective, as if there weren't enough actual facts to base criteria on.

The criteria used for each volcano are explosivity (VEI) and height (M), both interesting if you have an interest in volcanoes. then we have deadliness, wow! factor, unpredictability and devastation potential, none of which are really comparable statistics and a bit boring to be honest. i want statistics - date of last eruption, amount of ash ejected, height of column, how loud the explosion was!

so few actual facts. the interesting bit is the tiny bit of writing at the bottom of each card.

Enough time to be thinking that this is a strand or sideline, and I read on for a good few pages wondering when we were going to get back to the main story line. Amateurish handling of plot, and I wonder if we needed the first 25 pages of novel at all.

they're minecraft and that carries them a long way in the ratings. other than that they're good quality, sturdy unless you actually try to pull the arms off (they're on a sort of nobble and hole system!) but they push back on, and have given a fair amount of entertainment to an 8yr old boy. we built him and his mate steve a lego house and cars to race each other in.
