What is it about Britsih rock bands in the noughties? Indeed, since Oasis British rcok bands have been rabidly fixated on the past, churning out nostalgia drenched nuggets of medicority. Of course, some do it better than others. Glasvegas add to the tally, cobbling together various elements of the Brit-guitar sound since the late seventies (they owe more than a little to Robin Guthrie's reverb and chorus drenched guitar sound of the Cocteau Twins). Also, their drab cover of Nirvana's Come as you are is uncalled for.
