Shimano BRM395 Bicycle Cycling Bike Disc Brake set&hellip Shimano

I bought these to replace some 2011 Avid Elixir 3 brakes which were just too much to set up successfully and far too sharp when breaking. These, however, work really well. Cannot go wrong with Shimano Disc Brakes. I did consider the next ones up (Deore M615 set) but it was more money and I'm just commuting on them nothing more. In the past I have had Avid and Hope disc brakes but Shimano's disc breaks have always been the easiest set up to run, least maintenance by far.

The come setup as front right, rear left, there is no reach adjust that I could find. They do come with red pad retaining spacers installed. Keep them and use them when transporting. They did not come in a… Read more
Scythe - Case Fan - 40 mm - 04 CFM - 3500 RPM - Mi&hellip by Scythe
I bought this for the PSU on a HP Microserver N40L as the stock fan is quite loud. It all works fine. It moves enough air in the confined space that it made a whooshing air noise.

Note: This is a 10mm deep fan. Mine came with the appropriate adapter to power it from a 3-pin PWM source; this fan requires 12v to start running and some PSU's may not give this internally. For my install the screws were not perfect but it works.

After a while I stuck on a resistance based limiter on the fan, one I had lying around by silverstone, this got rid of any whooshing air noises and it now runs absolutely silently.

I have always been a fan of scythe fans. No pun… Read more
Asus Na Low Profile Graphic Card Brackets (2) 1 Fo&hellip by ASUS

I bought this for this card:

ASUS AMD Radeon HD 6450 (silent)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004XANP0U/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And it does work, not perfectly as the screw above the HDMI port does not line up but the ones for the DVI do so it works and does its intended job. I don't need or want the plate for the D-SUB so no opinions on that part.

On the other hand it was the cheapest of any on offer and they are few and far between. I believe the equivalent Sapphire card comes with a low profile bracket but I like ASUS.

This was purchased to build with a HP Microserver N40L to enable it to run as a HTPC and it does… Read more
