A most inspirational tale of a wonderful lady, Dame Daphne Sheldrick, and her life and work with wildlife. I didn't want the story to end, always a sign of a well written book. I have just been exceptionally lucky and visited her centre for orphaned elephants in Kenya named after her husband, David. My only regret is that I didn't read it whilst there but there is always another time for that.
