Having watched the trailer of this remake, I was actually non-plussed, and had consequently decided not to spend the 15 pound asking price from a local store. Then my brother gave me a tenner, so I decided to buy it after all, but not for the alternative ending, which, to be honest, having watched via a video web site, I find pointless. Unfortunately, the DVD didn't have any alternate scenes on it. The best part of the film is from when Carrie arrives at the prom to the end, although, I must admit I would have liked to have seen the original ending a la Sissy Spacek, instead of the lame one offered here. I bought this with my birthday money, just for something a little different. I love the younger cast, the clear playing pieces, and the different rooms (although it's been so long since I'd played original cluedo, I don't actual know what's changed.) The one slight niggle, and it's a small one, is that there are no new weapons, but I can hardly knock any stars off for that. I must have read the product description wrong. We've played three times since Friday (a record for me, as I don't like losing), and am looking forward to playing again. We have not yet tried the red question mark cards, opting to play the classic version, but from the looks of them, for example, take an extra go, etc,… Read more

This may contain spoilers. I had been considering buying this when it first came out, but decided to leave it as I hardly knew anything about it. It came down to £7 at a local store, and just as I was contemplating purchasing it, I found out that it was due to be shown on satellite tv so I thought I'd watch it first, then decide. Within 10 minutes, I knew I had to buy it. I found Gatsby fascinating, who for the most part is this ultra confident young man, then, whilst not very often in the film, is just so nervous, no more so than when he invites ex girlfriend Daisy over to her cousin's home. The rap music doesn't seem to to fit the era it's set in, but other than that the other pieces add… Read more
