This book keeps you interested from the first to the last page. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it is a novel of a family down to the last grandson and his strange enigmatic grandmother who returns to England to have her life story written by her good friend, who is dying to know just what went on in her youth. And the girl from the village who is half in love with the grandson, who is, as is his grandmother another enigmatic character.
All in all it is a very good yarn, and I whole heartedly recommended it to other readers.

I must say I enjoyed this book, though quite lot of Katherine Parr's is left out. But then it would have made this story far longer., the trouble is I have read too much of the actual history of the last of Henry V111 wives, and you do tend to keep reverting to in my mind these books (of which I sadly have read at least 3), but this is a fictional potted history, starting with the "murder" of her previous husband Lord Latymer, and possibly helping King Henry out of his pain as well. And ending with her death in childbirth(leaving out the most important last speach " I have been ill used by my venal grasping husband") ill used indeed, there is very little said of Seymours attempt to rape… Read more

I suffer from small patches of eczema which get very itchy and sore. Usually I would use Betnovate to stop this, and it worked ok, BUT the disadvantages far out way the advantages, in that it does thin the skin. At my age this is something I cannot afford, so I was very interested to try this product to see if it worked or not.
I had a very sore patch of eczema under my arm which is to say the least, most fragile regarding the thickness of skin, and as I tend to get this quite often I do loath using steroid creams in this area, so I used the Dermalex REPAIR cream, true it took longer for the patch to go, but the cream soothed the itch and soreness almost as soon as it was applied… Read more
