The book I purchased as published in 2001, was a used book, and the seller had ensured that it arrived in good condition - thank you!
The book itself provides a comprehensive overview of the field of marketing. It is well-illustrated. The writing style was easy to read.
However, the contents were written very much for the moment and the case studies look very dated. Actually, the whole book is utterly ephemeral in that regard.
That is a great pity, in my opinion, as there could have been a reasonable projection for future requirements and a more concentrated approach on strategies, to avoid the resultant limited use of much of this book for accurate application in 2011.

The book itself is simply laid out, just the way you'd want it. It provides a comprehensive step-by-step approach to marketing planning. It is the best book I have ever seen on the subject.
