This anthology, which focuses on the so-called 'Science Wars', contains devastating rebuttals to Gross and Levitt's 'Higher Superstition', and demonstrates that concerns about the process of 'science', as performed by humans subject to ideologies and socially constructed beliefs which can adversely affect the whole process as reasonable, which of course they are. The book provides a much needed antidote to the aggressive attacks being perpetrated by 'Science Warriors' who are not so interested in rational analysis of science, rather than attacking 'outsiders'.
