I used Cetaphil before this, but it doesn't have the soapy feeling that came with Sebamed so I was using a lot of the product each time I showered which was really uneconomical. Although Sebamed contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate which is known to cause a drying effect in skin, somehow Sebamed doesn't make that happen with my skin. It could be a placebo effect, but I've noticed this winter that my skin has taken a longer time to shown effects of dryness and it's definitely a good sign. I will continue using Sebamed - no complaints so far and it's made a positive impact on my showering experience and overall well-being.
