5.0 out of 5 stars Waiting for the gift of Dome Vision, 3 May 2011
I was lucky enough to have seen David at the Milton Keynes Bowl in 1990 as part of his Sound+Vision tour. It was a really great concert and a vast improvement on his previous solo tour - Glass Spider which I also saw live. This time round, Bowie was re-united with guitarist Adrien Belew who had previously played on the "Heroes" tour and the Lodger album. It was a much more stripped down and tighter sounding band than the one David had toured with in 1987, and mostly all the better for it and for obvious reasons the set list was much better. Roughly 21-22 songs were performed. For this Tokyo Dome concert, the fans were lucky enough to have got a 25 song set list - and what a set list! If you… Read more

There was to have originally been just a 4-disc Special Edition, but now we get the choice of a 5CD+1DVD+3LP Super Deluxe Limited Edition or this 3CD Special instead. No doubt this will please some, but deeply frustrate and annoy others. I suspect that any fans who are prepared to shell out for the Super Deluxe will also order the Special for easy day-to-day use.

I'll settle for this 3CD set. The music on it speaks for itself - you only have to view the tracklist to see what I mean. The Nassau Coliseum Concert is a triumphant showcase of Bowie's musical career up to this point in '76. An essential purchase!

5.0 out of 5 stars My kind of Reality, 6 Dec 2009
Us Bowie fans will already own the 'A Reality Tour' DVD, so we are aware of what an absolutely cracking tracklist it's got. Soon we will be able to own it on this double CD as well - I can't wait!

With an eclectic tracklist to die for featuring a selection of songs from 'Reality' and 'Heathen', plus a trawl through his vast legendary back catalogue, that features not only many of his well known classics but also some unexpected and very welcome quirks, such as: 'Sister Midnight', 'Be My Wife', 'Fantastic Voyage', 'Battle For Britain' and 'The Motel', plus three bonus tracks, makes this live set of 33 songs a desirable purchase for many (but apparently not all) Bowie fans.
