The Bell Jar (FF Classics) by Sylvia Plath
The Bell Jar (FF Classics) by Sylvia Plath
The Bell Jar is so raw and breathtakingly loyal to life's harsh realities. It is not a novel for the light-hearted as it delves into serious issues in the world such as mental illness, depression, electrotherapy, sex, motherhood and marriage. It gives us a true insight to the struggles the author dealt with, among many who have also dealt with them and people who still do. Such a human novel, 5 stars!

Good but too short and brief. Enjoyed the design and illustrations. I give this 3 stars! Nevertheless one of my favourite fairy tales!

This book was written in such a way that is both brilliantly humorous and deeply poignant. An easy yet inspiring read that will leave you intrigued and inspired by the questions it raises about life. A suitable read for adults. 5 stars!
