First the obvious - this is quite expensive for a duvet. My last one cost me about 30 so it was quite a jump for me to spend over ten times that amount on a replacement.

However my previous fibre duvet was heavy and because it was quite dense it holds the cold for longer and took about an hour to warm up on a cold evening. I hated it. I had some experience of down duvets from many years ago as horrible, itchy, blotchy things but was recently recommended this goose down duvet by a friend. I am so glad I listened because this duvet is nothing like the ones I experienced in the past. It is so soft, light, airy and the 50/50 silk/cotton cover and pocket construction hold it… Read more

You do need to sit wholey inside the chair (feet as well) which means you need to bend your knees up or to the side so bear that in mind if you might have movement problems. I use a small travel cushion for my… Read more
Emu Men's Mason Slipper Emu
As other reviewers have unfortunately also found out on Christmas day, these slippers will not fit anyone at the sizes stated. It is not a UK sizing issue as the label on the box is clearly intended to be correct when compared to EU/US sizing, it is just that the slippers are the wrong size. They are far too small by at least a couple of sizes, and are extremely narrow. From the quantity of other reviews it looks like Amazon will be receiving quite a few of these back again in the new year which is a shame because apart from the critical problem of not fitting they do appear to be very nice slippers.
