Fantastic album - back to form, 1 Sep 2011

Stunning return to form from Al and Pete - caught them live on their recent tour and while the old hits got the crowd going, it was the new material that did it for me. Mature song writing, excellent production, I expect this to be one of those albums people rediscover in a few years time and wonder why it wasn't an massive seller. Time will tell i expect. Recommended !

I enjoy discovering the stories of real people in historical reviews. This book is great in recounting the trials and tribulations of individuals during the Second World War in Britian - brings the situation to life. It follows many of the topics I can remember my grandparents talking about: the bombing in London, the question of evacuation, the food shortages, the propaganda! Really interesting read and recommended to those with a liking to both human-interest stories and military accounts. Super!
