Yet another fantastic and addictive installment by the wonderful Robert J Crane. I simply could not put this book down... it's fast paced, emotive and beautifully well written. Can't wait for the next one!

I was a girl who didn't "do" fantasy fiction, who thought super heroes was for comic book geeks and who used to truly believe that detective mysteries were far better reads than this adventure stuff....Well wasn't I was fifty shades of all kinds of wrong?

The female lead, Sienna, is feisty but vulnerable, fearsome yet sweetly naive. The characters are engaging and well developed, the story-line keeps you guessing and the narrative pace keeps you compulsively turning the page well past the point when sensible people are fast asleep. Brilliant. Am thoroughly immersed in all things Arkarian. I really never thought I'd ever enjoy reading this genre at all, never mind be counting Sanctuary as one of my all-time favourite series. Mr Crane has successfully cured my long-term dislike of fantasy adventure and am now a zealous convert :)
