The idea is good, in the first instance, because you can attach any set of headphones, but either the headphones wiggle out of the adaptor or (especially) the adaptor simply comes out of the phone. This will happen before you've even settled the phone in your pocket! it will disconnect before you've taken a few steps walking, and indeed whilst going up stairs or simply bending. Ideally this might work if you can use an outside breast pocket, but the slightest friction works the adaptor loose. So not a good buy in the short/long run! I only used it because I had to, but found I had simply wasted my money
