1.0 out of 5 stars Beware!, 3 Jun 2014
I purchased this new in October 2012. It's been great - a superb camera. . . at least until the zoom mechanism developed a fault in May 2014. I sent it back to Fuji for a repair estimate, which came back with a quote for £521.46!

If Fuji are going to make supposedly high quality cameras, they also need to make them to last longer than this, and/or provide a decent repair service.

My suggestion is buy a Lumix LX7 instead. A better lens, and probably far more reliable.

What really makes it work is the obsessive and detailed nature of the project, with its classification systems. Don't be put off, it's worth every penny. It's also a great book to read in public - the double takes are great :)

Even Henry Normal (of Baby Cow Productions) attended for a while in the dim and distant past.

This is the first anthology from the group since 'Between Mondays' in 1987, so 'unexpected' rather than 'long awaited' might be closer to the mark. It's an eclectic mix of poetry and short stories which demonstrates the strength and variety of the… Read more
