Bored Teenagers Vol 7 ~ VARIOUS
This music takes me back. Raw, uncompromising, but above all exciting music (not so much of that around these days).
Buy this, pour yourself a large Chardonnay, and enjoy!
All the tracks are great, but I particularly like KATZ.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved it., 31 Oct 2011
Not being a "folkie" I was unsure as to whether I would enjoy this book. However, within a few pages I was completely sold and the end of the book came far too soon.

I notice that some reviewers are knocking small details, but I'd urge them to consider the breadth of scope and depth of analysis here. The author has managed to weave many threads and themes into a thoroughly informative and, above all, entertaining book.

Let's face it - until Rory's brother, Donal, writes a biography then Gerry McAvoy's excellent book is as close to the G-Man as we're going to get. Gerry has given us a comprehensive account of both Rory the man, and Rory the musician. The author says what he wants to say about his relationship with Rory as his employer and as his friend.
A great read and thoroughly recommended.
