I bought this to replace my 6 year old Breville 2 slice toaster. The previous one was a heavy, stainless steel finish, but this one (in black plastic) fits better into my new kitchen colour scheme. It is very, very light and feels incredibly flimsy. I hope I am wrong, and this one lasts as long as the previous one, but I do approach it with a much gentler hand than before. The slot on this toaster is quite small, and a 'standard' sized wholemeal loaf sticks out at the top edge. This makes it easy to get out of the machine, but it does leave a pale and hardly toasted strip along the top edge. It has all the usual functions for re-heating, cooking frozen and stopping… Read more
Having tried a number of inexpensive glue guns over the years I thought I would push the boat out and spend a little bit more money on a branded item and see if I could get it to last a bit longer! This is a nice small gun and it warms up quickly. The outside stays cool in use, and the gun feed is reliable so far. It does stand up to cool on the front 'flip-up' stand, although you are better putting it close to a table edge to get the handle flat on the table surface. It has 2 temperature settings, which adds to its usefulness, and it uses standard 7mm sticks. I am hoping it will last a bit longer than previous models, or I will back to buying cheap versions again!
I enjoyed playing this game at first. It was fun finding out how to get round the various obstacles and I did get pleasure from working things out. After a while, though, I sort of drifted back to playing chess and Scrabble, as it does become (for me at any rate) a bit 'samey. I imagine it would be a good start for children or people new to gaming, as it is a pretty simple and non-aggressive game.
