"The Madness" was a departure from the remaining members of Madness who had decieded to carry on following their split in the late 80's. The sound is a lot more polished and the songs themselves are very well-crafted. It may be different from the sound of Madness but that isn't a bad thing. In fact, if you are looking for something a little different then you should certainly give "The Madness" a try. The album sounds very 80's and very good too. Recommened.
"The Three Pyramids Club" is a true hidden gem of an album. Suggs proves that he can do more than just bouncy, fun pop tunes like on his first solo album "The Lone Ranger". This is a more ska sounding, kinda concept, album. Full of top tunes it's certainly worth a listen. Highly recommened.
This is a fantastic album littered with ska/pop gems from No Doubt. From earlier stuff like "Trapped in a Box" to new tracks like "It's My Life" it shows how the band has changed over the years by improving their sound and writing some fantastic songs along the way. It's the perfect pop/ska album. Highly recommended!
