Last Tango in Halifax - Series 1 & 2 Box Set [DVD] DVD ~ Anne Reid
How can anyone not like Sarah Lancashire?. To me she would knock the spots off a lot of these Hollywood super stars. We are just on the second disk of the first series, and it's great. It's the first time my wife has seen it, but my second. Not many DVD get a second time from me, but this one has.

Come on lets have more like this. I could watch them over and over again.
The Red House by Mark Haddon
The Red House by Mark Haddon
If your new to Mark Haddon, then don't start with this one, In fact don't bother with it at all. The Dog in the night, and A Spot of bother are great. But this one , Try as I did I just couldn't get to grips with it. It's not written in the same way as a normal book, and that doesn't help. Half the time I didn't know who was saying what, or why it had even been said. A total mess from start-to finish.

But don't let this put you off the other 2 as they are worth spending your money on.

If your thinking of buying this one, then Be it on your own head. Trust me.

What it does have is a splendid history of Kendo, And the way it is all put together makes the book very easy to understand. So much so, that even I can manage it.

This has been said before though, so here goes again... No book is any good by its-self, without regular visits to your Dojo. But if I had to choose a book to keep near at hand, and to look up certain things I needed to check, then this would be more than OK for… Read more
