In a mind numbing kind of way. Unfortunately boring and predictable. I just wanted to give the lead character a slap and tell her to get a grip! I'm a big fan of a chick-lit, but this was even too much for me. There is far too much moping about, and nothing happens until 3/4 of the way in (by which time you've seen it coming anyway.)

Paediatric Intensive Care Nursing is an in-depth and informative textbook, as both a practical guide and educational resource for paediatric intensive care nurses.

As a junior paediatric intensive care nurse, I found this book useful for brushing up on the fundamental nursing skills and also as a resource for learning about the more complex side of PIC nursing. I can see how this book would also be useful for more advanced nurses as some of the detail and language used in the book is at the moment too complicated for me, but will continue to be useful as I progress.
