To me, this is out and out Devildriver. It is a Devildriver album and it is exactly what I wanted it to be. I do not feel let down one bit. The album as a whole makes me feel very strong, capable and fearless of conflict, which is the way a good metal album should make you feel. It's the type of album that makes you want to challenge someone. I don't know who you might want to challenge but you'd say to them; come on motherfucker try and be a cock to me and I will fuck you up, because I have been listening to Devildriver and my name is Winter; and Winter Kills.

I love all the tracks and I hated the original version of Sail but DD do a brilliant cover version and I love it… Read more

'Heads up - Hands down'.

This record is brilliant! In a world of rehash & rewrite this record is a breath of fresh air. Mainstream heavy music in 2013 is going through the motions, and probably has done for over 10 years. I'm sure a lot of new bands sound great to a youngster, but as a 35 year old I'm getting bored of the same old dog shit.

The best albums in the world have been 'growers', needing attention from the listener and first listen this album sounds very extreme, and it is, but after a few good listens the songs start to appear.
