'Melancholia' is a very powerful film. I don't think it is for everyone, as some will find it slow moving, but I think the speed in which it moves helps to capture the overall tone of the film. It has an artistic feel to it as Lars Von Trier's intention was to convey the sense of melancholia. This film certainly does that, without becoming too depressing to watch. Kirsten Dunst is tremendous, perhaps demonstarting the best acting I've seen from her. The film drops you into the lives of Kirsten Dunst's character and her sister on her wedding day. From the begginning you know something isn't quite right and for myself I found it really interesting trying to understand each character and the… Read more

Well I'm still not sure what to make of this game. The controls weren't difficult, after a short time getting used to them and as negative as the other reviews are I have to say I really did enjoy it. You get a variety of spells to choose from that you build throughout the game which make it feel less restricted. However, having only started playing the game yesterday and completing it today (and I'm no super gamer) its safe to say its not a very long game. I got through it at a colossal rate and the levels began to get a little repetitive with little diversity in the objective. I am a big harry potter fan and its likely I enjoyed playing it just for the sheer thrill of using my chosen… Read more

I didn't see Fantastic Mr Fox in the cinema and I had my reservations about this film but I when I decded to watch it one day at home I was blown away. It took me just a little while to get into it as its pace is completely different from any film I've seen. Its so unique and incredibly entertaining both as a film for younger viewers but just as much for older. There is a subtle humuor to it which is so charming and yet hilarious. When I saw adverts I thought the animation would make it hard to watch but if anything it makes it easier. Theres something very natural about it and because its not perfect in comparison to other animations that only makes it more realistic. I will definatley be… Read more
