Blood and Sand by Frank Gardner
This book is an excellent read, on so many levels. From the early stages backpacking in the middle east, through experiencing life in the contrasting cities like Cairo and Dubai, discovering that banking was not the career he wanted, and his passion then for journalism. This book starts with the anguish of the shooting, then moves through his life to the aftermath of almost dying in the Saudi dust. ANYONE (coeliac or not coeliac) should find many things in here… Read more

I think the issue is the range of musical styles he has tried here - some just don't work for me. I think if I came to the album without being a BNL fan I might appreciate it more, but as a BNL fan there are just too… Read more
