5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful design, 18 May 2010
The watch was a present to myself for my last birthday. I bought mostly because of the design which is very elegant and on close inspection is as good if not better than a lot of the premium watch makes.

5.0 out of 5 stars That's better!, 13 Oct 2008
This is definitely the definitive version of Dark City that everyone should see. After watching it for the first time I was amazed at how heavily edited the original version was especially in the beginning half of the movie. In this version the added pieces of narrative help flesh out the characters and keep the movie's pace consistent, without making it too long. I also noticed it's easier to hear the dialogue as the soundtrack has been toned down from the less dramatic scenes, and it seems that Jennifer Connelly is actually singing in this version, either that or they've improved the overdub. Overall this still remains (even more so now) one of my favourite movies of all time!

I never had the experience of ever seeing the original ELO play, so being a fan in the 1990's, ELO part 2 was as near as I could get. For me this CD is the only half decent Part 2 effort as their best lead singer was Phil Bates and here they are singing the old tunes as well as a few of their own numbers. On the downside the sound quality isn't up to much and neither is the print work on the flimsy booklet. If you're after a good modern ELO experience may I point you in the direction of the 'Zoom' DVD that Jeff Lynne did in 2001, it's much more superior. Sorry Bev!
