Well it seems that rose is the new chardonnay these days, so it is about time that a decent book was published to help us find our way through the shelves of pink stuff at our local wine merhant or supermarket.
This book packs a lot of information into a very small package, providing background on wine production techniques, how to taste, how (and where) to buy and which producers are worth a look. There are even a bunch of recipes which have been created to complement rose wines.
The writing style is light and "friendly", managing to impart plenty of information without ever becoming too dry or dreary.
