Gently at a Gallop (The Inspector George Gently Ca&hellip by Alan Hunter
2.0 out of 5 stars Bitterly disappointing, 26 Jan 2014
The plot was there but very thin, I had worked out the main player as to who had done the deed, but at the same time the ending really badly let the book down, I felt it was unfinished and needed some better plot lines and red herrings, which just were not there!

This was quite an interesting story, which kept you wondering who did it, there were a few twists and turns that made this one of the better ones, including the final twist which made the book worth reading.
Gently French (George Gently) by Alan Hunter
Started off well, but the plot was rather thin and it lacked serious sparkle, I plodded through it hoping for a reasonable ending, which it did have, but I would call it a bit thin on everything.
