2.0 out of 5 stars Not what I hoped for!, 14 Oct 2003
I am a huge Disney fan and since Cinderella is my favorite animated movie ever, I wanted my little 3-year-old girl to have the sequel so that we can enjoy it together. Unfortunately not only that I did not like the story but the animation was very bad, too. It has somewhat discrased the original movie and I cannot see the characters in the same light any more. I wish that I didn't have to say this, but it looks almost as if Disney was trying to get some quick cash without much effort and that definitely is not what Disney is (or should be) about. The Fussy Baby Book: Parenting Your High-Need Chil&hellip by William Sears

From the first moment I knew that my daughter was a bit extra - extra smart, extra loving, extra needy, extra fussy,...and I wasn't sure how to handle her. Most of the time I just followed my instincts but have recently started loosing faith after hearing "you gonna spoil her" from friends and family too many times.
After reading this book I realized that many parents are following this style of parenting. It helped me form a perspective on how to help my high-need toddler's personality flourish and feel sure (and proud) of my mothering style. I only wish I had this book 2.5 years ago before my baby was born - every page breaths with love and the most beautiful ways to enjoy… Read more
Solve Your Child's Sleep Problems: A Practical and&hellip by M.D. Richard Ferber

This is a good read - it helped me learn about sleep and sleeping disorders and identify what I was and wasn't doing right so far. The book answered most of my questions and gave some steady, practical advice on how to solve my toddler's sleeping problems.
However, as a mother of a high-need child and a follower of attachment parenting style, the book was somewhat too "down to earth" and suggested techniques somewhat cruel - I could not follow them in full and don't believe many mothers could.
Nevertheless I will keep it in my library and definitely recommend it to all parents as good learning & reference book.
