Visiting the Igigi stores in Brighton is one of my favourite pleasures in life, so I have to admit to a bias in writing this review. I have to travel for a couple of hours to get there, but I relish indulging in the fantasy when I arrive. This soulful book attempts to capture some of what makes Igigi special in pictures and words. There are chapters on the unique friendship that has helped to create Igigi, the philosphy, the spirit and the style. There is also a handful of recipes for the delicious food that is served in the cafe.

I loved this regency novella and read it in one sitting. I only wish it was a longer story. I wanted to learn more about how the characters had come together and where there relationship went after the end of the book. It would be wonderful if Raven could develop it into a longer book.

A wonderful romance that is as pleasurable as eating a box of chocolates in the afternoon. Completely indulgent and fun. The product description is accurate, it is a novella, not a full length novel. If that is what you are looking for ... enjoy!
