I own two Rosemary Conley DVDs and was shocked by the similarities between the two - she certainly likes to stick to her tried and tested moves! This DVD consists of a 10 minute warm up, a 20 minute "high-impact" aerobic session, then 10 minutes each on hips/thighs and abdominals.
The good points? I can feel myself definitely working progressively harder. I consider myself to be fairly unfit but as I am young, I have more energy and don't find the so-called high impact section to be incredibly strenuous. However, I felt like I was working and the intensity got increasingly higher throughout the workout. Conley is very good at explaining exactly how to do the moves, and although she… Read more

I read this book over a year ago in preparation for an A level English Literature exam - it came very highly recommended from everyone who had read it, and they were right. This book opens with a beautifully poignant love story, which some have called trite, but which I found breathtaking. The erotic scenes are passionate but not crude, and the emotion aroused in the reader by the attraction between the pair is incredible. I have never read literature that touched my heart as much as the descriptions of war in this book. The account of the… Read more

I first read this book when I was eleven, about the same age as most Harry Potter fans. Put simply - if you're looking for a challenging, deep, thought-provoking novel, you're in the wrong place and probably the wrong genre as well. This book doesn't seek to do any of the above things. It's purely a wonderful adventure through Midkemia, the story of two boys coming of age, and a war to end all wars. If you try and read anything more into it, you'll be disappointed. If, on the other hand, you want to graduate to the *real* fantasy genre, this is an excellent way of going about it. I loved this book, it is a real page-turner with a gripping storyline and no obstacles to hinder your enjoyment.
