5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic value, 26 July 2013
Bought this phone a few days ago for my Mum, and having played around with it for a bit I'm genuinely impressed.

Price - Bought (unlocked) from Carphone Warehouse as a PAYG upgrade for 80 (no top-up required) but Amazon are doing it unlocked for 115ish, not a bad price.

Windows Phone 8 - This was my first chance to try out the WP8 OS, I've been a long-time user of Android. The OS is extremely simple (1 home screen of Live Tiles, and a single swipe to the left to show a list of all the apps installed). It's quite intuitive (much more so than Android at least). You need a Microsoft account to set up everything, similar to a Google account being needed for Android. It's… Read more
Apple Dock for 4th Generation iPod with Click Whee&hellip by Apple

3.0 out of 5 stars Handy, but expensive, 31 Aug 2004
This dock is quite useful as it means that you don't have to be continually plugging the USB2/firewire cable into the ipod, I always feel as if i'm going to damage something when I do that. If you use the dock, then one end of your USB2/firewire cable goes into the correct port on your PC and the other end goes into the dock. Thus, whenever you need to synch or recharge, you just drop the ipod into the dock. The dock also provides a line-out for connection to a stereo, which is useful because it's better quality than using the headphone jack.
However, 30 for a small unit that, when it comes down to it, isn't essential by any stretch of the imagination is quite simply a rip-off. My… Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Get the big bro!!, 16 Aug 2004
The only thing the mini has going for it is it's size. In every other aspect, it's bigger brothers (the fourth-generation ipods) surpass it. They have the marvellous click wheel integrated into them, so you get the same controls as on the mini. You get FIVE TIMES the storage space for an extra 45. You get an ipod that can charge over USB2, effectively meaning you never have to take the AC adapter out of the box. You also get 12 hour battery life, which means YOUR IPOD WILL LAST FOR LONGER!! The type of battery used in ipods last for a certain number of recharges, then they become pretty much dead. Longer battery life = more time between each recharge. This means in a year you will recharge… Read more
