This book has a good few laugh out loud moments and is lovely to dip into. The story about the child in the supermarket and the bricks had me weeping.
i think unintentionally tis is acting as a marvellous piece of social commentary. When historians try to picture life in 2010 was like in Britain they could do a lot worse than look here! i would love one of these books from every decade in history.
