The Growth Story - Successful Business Growth Stra&hellip by Sue Stockdale

Sue's latest book is a great summary of how a number of businesses have grown, using different strategies, from acquisition to franchise to organic growth. Whilst it's based on women owned businesses in the UK and USA, it is relevant to anyone in business who is looking for growth and for anyone starting off in business. It's an easy read and you can dip in and out of it, but contains some very interesting insights.
The Little Knight by N. Stather
The Little Knight by N. Stather
This is a really charming book for under 5s, encompassing adventures of swashbuckling knights, magical wizards and a fire-breathing (female) dragon! Lots of fun for children and parents and even an educational element as it introduces the idea of North, South, East and West. Nice rhyming verse which children will quickly remember - definitely a good read and would make a lovely present.
Secrets of Successful Women Entrepreneurs: How Ten&hellip by Sue Stockdale

Sue Stockdale's book, 'Secrets of Successful Women Entrepreneurs' is a rare thing; it is an enjoyabe, easy to read, but very informative business book, which once started is hard to put down. The series of interviews with an amazing collection of successful women entrepreneurs are incisive and inspiring and I found myself finishing one and rushing straight on to the next. At the end of the book I found myself wanting to ask more questions of them all - there isn't time in this fascinating snapshot to delve as deep as you would like, once your interest has been awakened. However, I felt inspired and enthused by these individuals and returned to my own business with an extra spring in my step!
