If you are looking for a film with absolute parodical genius this is it. The story is one of forbidden love but has the ability to make you laugh and if you are a fan of global cinema this is a must have. This is the best global film I have seen since Amores Peros. Completely different and not so critically acclaimed but still entertaining and beautiful to watch.

The extraordinary acting ability of Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland contribute to this and each time you watch this film it becomes increasingly frightening. For all the technical movie buffs out there, if you are looking for a film which is almost a textbook on how editing should be done you have found it. Never seen anything so well edited and I have seen a LOT of films. The narrative will leave you thinking a long time after the movie has finished. Negative aspects are the sound is not the greatest but with a film like this it is a minor gripe… Read more
