Kitchen Craft 13-Piece Slate Appetiser Gift Set by Kitchen Craft
This is a beautiful set, and makes a great gift for a foodie. However, it is an item that does not travel well and I ended up having to buy it in a shop after buying twice from Amazon sellers and the item was either slate broken or china smashed. To be fair even in store I had to search through several to find a complete set unbroken. Manufacturer take note, this needs better packaging. Disappointing experience, hence 4 stars.

I spotted this book while browsing and liked the look of the (blurry) pics on the front cover. I have just received it within 7 days and
I find it is the most beautiful book of american patterns for many occasions, most of which I would be highly likely to stitch. I am delighted with it and feel that at 2.81 I have slightly robbed the seller :-) Grab one while you can!
Miss Potter [DVD] [2006] DVD ~ Renee Zellweger
Miss Potter [DVD] [2006] DVD ~ Renee Zellweger

I've always given this a miss when I've seen it's half way through on telly, but I happened upon some good reviews and it caught my imagination. I enjoyed the movie apart from one small gripe, and that was Renee Zellweger gurning throughout. I assume that this is Renee emoting, but it just annoys me. The moments when she wasn't making these facial contortions were very enjoyable, and I felt the stilted conversations were probably much more true to life for the period than many other period dramas, and captured the era very well.
