Nothing will replace the wonder of first hearing Tubular Bells back in 1973. Mike Oldfield has continually tried to recreate that magic ever since with a constant stream of 'Bell' albums. What we didn't need was yet another attempt. Don't get me wrong Rob Reed is an extraordinary talent but this one he should have kept to himself as a personal homage to his hero. It unashamedly borrows structure and instrumentation from the original as well as subsequent inferior Oldfield releases. Good for curiosity factor but it has no chance of longevity. More Kompendium please!

1.0 out of 5 stars More like No No No!!, 21 July 2014
I'll give it a star for the Roger Dean cover. As far as the music goes its parp. If you thought Fly From Here was bad this one trumps it and some. Jon Davison does sound uncannily like Jon Anderson, he always has just check out Glass Hammer. As far as the rest of the band, they never get out of second gear - a pale shadow of the once great Yes. They should stick to bring their own tribute band.

Unlike a previous reviewer I didn't even get a week! I didn't work at all! Guess what the supplier won't even answer my e-mails. Stay well clear.
