Dualit 72502 Cream Jug Kettle 1.5 Litre by Dualit
the kettle fits all my requirements in that it is of a very neat, compact design, is a comfortable weight to carry and is easy to fill. The cream and chrome colour has been much admired and is easy to wipe free of drips to restore to its original condition. In all I have been delighted with my purchase and will keep in mind the 'Duralit' name when needing other kitchen items.

Having recently made a very brief visit to Albania, I met a delightful local guide who recommended this book, one which I never might have chosen to read. However, I was fascinated by the social background and the feuding which was an integral part of society, so I was inspired to read this novel. Not only is Kadare an excellent writer but he brings the landscape alive and against this harsh backdrop, it is easier to understand how the country became cut off from those surrounding it. Even the main character in the novel is deeply and permanently affected by her journey through the countryside of her own land. A truly intriguing read.

This is yet another example of old novels being re-published under a different title. i was deeply disappointed to find that this was not a recent publication, although Leon's books are usually worth a re-read. Her style is very accessible and has a good pace and wry sense of humour. Leon is certainly one of my favourite writers.
