This book is beautiful. There is a melancholic feel to it that I think is so real when comparing it to the drama and happily ever after of chick lit (which I do also enjoy).
I won't give away the plot at all but I will exhort you to read it. The characters you will take to your heart and the scenery you will see in your minds eye.
This book has left a lasting impression on me and, as it says in my review title, I've ordered the paperback for my mum as I just want to share it with others.

2.0 out of 5 stars Oh dear., 9 Mar 2014
I realise this book was free so I shouldn't expect too much. And I don't claim that I could do better. However just some simple proof reading would help, for example, to decide whether it's set in the UK or US and to tone down the excessive use of exclamation marks. Other than that, poor character development and the fact that the author had clearly been reading too much 50 Shades, it earnt it's two stars by being a bit of escapism on a Sunday morning.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read!, 31 Jan 2013
Thoroughly enjoyable read with likeable characters, romance and, for a nice change, a not entirely predictable plot. This for me was what really put it above other books in it's genre.
Definitely unputdownable.
