I really loved this delightful tale about Dennis and Toby Jug.
Who would think that a book with very little else happening apart from the relationship between a slightly eccentric character and his cat . A very gentle paced story that I really looked forward to picking it up and losing myself to find out what was happening.

Unfortunately abuse can affect people in different ways and i can fully understand and believe Laila's personality. Scenes described felt very authentic in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan its just that it wasn't very well written at all and I just couldn't keep going with it. Should have had a lot of editing and sorting out before publishing especially as it was set at quite a high price initially. There was a lot of rambling and repetitiveness which definitely didn't do it any favours.
Sorry Anon just not to my liking although I wish you the very best for your future. You do deserve better.
