Due to my interest in languages I am always looking for earphones that best capture the nuances of the human voice (both sung and spoken): the shifts in pitch, tone, stress,accent,rhythm. I have become particularly sensitive to high frequency losses. So, I will be judging these earphones from this perspective. I will be comparing these with my previous earphones, the Sennheiser MX470, and, after much experimenting with inferior models, with what has become my reference for all other headphones: the AKG Q701.

At 10.6 x 2.9 x 15 cm this dictionary is less of a pocket dictionary and more of a quick reference dictionary. It is well suited to this function. The combination of handy size, flexible plastic cover, quality paper and binding, and blue headwords mean that I can quickly find adequate translations for 80-90% of words. For the remaining 10-20% I have larger dictionaries. It has become my first point of reference.

These headphones are better than any wired headphones I own (admittedly, I don't own any high end wired headphones, £100+). Excellent clarity.

There is one small issue, which may be a problem with the pair I recently bought. Or it may be the tolerance to which the product is designed.

There is a very slight, high frequency buzz in the right ear cup, where all the control buttons are. The problem is such that I can not notice it at all* when music is playing. Only by concentrating during quiet passages of dialogue or, better still, switching the balance completely from one ear to another, that I can notice the buzz.
