I bought this album on the strength of 'Pound the Alarm' (which is genius) and 'Starships', but the first half of the album is VERY rap-oriented, ie, tracks 1-9 are not in the slightest bit 'pop'.
The second part of the album (starting with Starships) is more pop-oriented. So, if you Rap isn't your thing, you can skip the first 9 songs! The pop songs on the album are very good, but none is as good as Pound the Alarm (IMHO), so don't be expecting an album of that caliber. Overall, a good album, but not the best album I've bought this year.
