Fifty Shades Freed (Fifty Shades Trilogy Book 3) by E L James

I feel as if I've just returned from a long journey...one where I traveled with someone from vacuity and solitude to repletion and felicity. This trilogy is written from the point of view of the heroine; but to me, it's a summation of the journey of the hero, Christian.

The further glimpses of Christian's past that the author gives us in this book reminds us of a sad fact: that the story of his childhood is painfully similar to one many people could tell...of abuse, neglect, and heartache. I really enjoyed this book! Although not a full length novel, it was a really steamy read, yet still contained a significant amount of character development and plot, which was a delightful surprise. I really enjoyed the humor and phrases that the author used as well, and her writing style just really rocks :) As with her other book, "Power of the Moon", her accuracy in capturing the true nuances and procedures of the law enforcement profession were flawless. Can't wait to read more from her!

I liked that Mia developed her own powers..she's not all helpless when it comes to needing Cole to rescue her all the time, she can hold her own. The ideas the author used for weapons and 'wardrobe' were awesome. The way Mia learned more about the NA legend/heritage at the end was great, I'm looking forward to learning more in the next book for sure! I liked how Ms. Carrerio has the supernatural/human law enforcement task forces arranged as well. I'd also like to add… Read more
