Gastrogeek: What to eat when you're in a hurry, hu&hellip by Rejina Sabur-Cross

Jaded by soft-focused images of loaves of bread, baked by manicured celebrity hands, it's absolute sheer relief to find such a generous, exciting and balanced range of umami-centric recipes in this offering from Gastrogeek.

I've already tried the frozen cherry yoghurt knicker blocker glory and the roasted aubergine macaroni cheese. Both were like a rising sun shedding new light on my perception of comfort eating. As a flexible vegetarian who loves cheese and occasionally meat, there are at least a dozen recipes here which cannot be on my plate soon enough.
Dream Machine by Will Davis
Dream Machine by Will Davis
There are points in Will Davis' 2nd novel where every momentary detail is brutally broken down into hilarious comedy observation. I have to say I had never seen X Factor before reading this, but was compelled to start watching. If any TV executives are reading this you should be fighting over yourselves to televise this.
